PetanQ is made by Command Q (KvK-nummer: 93225687). For privacy questions about PetanQ specifically, contact: developer@commandq.nl
We collect exactly one type of data: Coarse Location, and only when you choose to submit a community venue. This is an approximate location (accuracy of roughly 100 meters), tied to your Apple ID via CloudKit's public database, and used only to place your submission on the venue map. It is never used for tracking or advertising.
Everything else — your players, teams, games, tournaments, statistics, and tip-jar purchases — lives only in your own private iCloud database. We cannot read it, and it is not collected by us.
PetanQ does not track you across other apps or websites. There are no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party trackers in the app.
Apple (iCloud, App Store) is the only third party involved in running PetanQ. Their handling of your data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Your private data lives in your own iCloud account until you delete it or delete the app. Community venue submissions remain publicly visible until you remove them yourself, or until they are automatically hidden after multiple user reports.
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data. For your private data, you already have full local control on your own device. For community venue submissions you made, use the in-app edit/delete action. For any other request, email developer@commandq.nl.
If you have a complaint about how your data is handled, you can contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority: autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
